Who hosts this event?
From 2012-2017, the Dan River Autism Awareness Autism 5k was led by its founding Race Director with a planning committee of parents, educators, autism professionals from the Center for Pediatric Therapies and volunteers from Danville Running Club. In 2018, the Junior Wednesday Club adopted the event as its annual fall project. Moving the event from April to the November led to the renaming of the event to the Wobble & Gobble Autism Awareness 5k.
